The 'Three Distance' Club Championship will be awarded to the member with the fastest average M.P.H. in 10, 25 and 50 mile Walsall or Stafford RC club time trials


The Best All-Rounder will be the member with fastest average M.P.H. in any approved open 50, 100, and 12 hour time trials.


The John Aspinall Trophy will be awarded to the member making the fastest time in an approved open 100 mile time trial.


The George Hill Trophy will be awarded to any junior or juvenile member for the best performance on points in a series of evening time trials.


The Harry Baker Trophy will be awarded to the club lady Best All-Rounder based on the average M.P.H. of two 10 mile and two 25 mile time trials in any approved CTT events. The Ladies Road Race Trophy will be awarded to the lady member who, in the opinion of the committee, has achieved the best performances in road or circuit races.


The David Joberns Road Race Trophy will be awarded to the member scoring most points in BC approved road races as indicated on the BC web site on October 31st October.


The Sidney S. Woods Trophy will be awarded to the junior member scoring most points in approved road races under BC rules and regulations. 9


The Jack Robbins Trophy will be awarded to the juvenile member who in the opinion of the committee has achieved the best performance in an approved circuit race or series of circuit races.


The Club Event Championship Trophy will be awarded to the member with the best performance on points in a series of WRCC club events. In 2017 there are 13 WRCC Club events. A members best 9 performances will count. The points will be awarded as follows:- 1 st 6 points, 2 nd 5pts, 3rd 4pts, 4th 3pts, 5th 2pts, 6 th 1pt, other finishers-0.5 pt each.


The Fred Morgan Trophy will be awarded to the juvenile member with the best performance on points in a series of evening time trials.


The Intermediate Best All-Rounder Trophy will be awarded to the club senior member less than 25 years of age with the best average M.P.H. for 10, 25 and 50 mile time trials in approved CTT events on Midland District courses.


The Nigel Meades Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the member with the best performance, as voted by all current members.


The Fred Smith Trophy will be awarded to the member making the fastest 25 mile time trial time of the year in any approved event.


The Penny Farthing Cup will be awarded to the member making fastest 50 mile time trial time of the year in any approved event.


The Sam Simpson Trophy will be awarded to the member scoring most handicap points in club 9.2, 10 and 25 mile time trials. In 2017 there are 8 WRCC Club 9.2, 10 & 25 mile events. A members best 6 performances will count.


The Veterans Best All-Rounder Trophy will be awarded to the club member aged 40 and over with the best VTTA Standard M.P.H. based on any approved open 10, 25, 50 and 100 mile time trials.


The Club Hill Climb Trophy will be awarded to the member with the fastest time in the club hill climb.


The Alan Slim Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the member with the best aggregate time in two out of the three club 25 mile Walsall / Stafford time trials held in June.


A ‘clubman’ of the year trophy shall be awarded to the member who has made the most significant contribution towards the club. This will be voted for by current club members.


In the event of a club time trial being cancelled which could subsequently affect the awarding of a trophy the committee will have the power to nominate an alternative.


No club member shall compete in any other event on the day of a club open event without prior permission from the club committee. Any rider competing without permission shall not use the result in claiming club trophies.


The club shall run an award scheme giving all members a set of standards to aim for.


In order to ensure smooth running of events, all members are expected to show goodwill and provide help at both open and club events where possible. Racing members are expected to provide assistance for at least one club event during the season. They shall offer assistance, in advance of the event, by signing up against a date slot on a rota managed by the racing secretary.


Members wishing to claim any of the previously listed awards must put in a claim with the Hon. Racing Secretary by Oct 31st. This must list the award they are claiming and the results of the counting events. The results list may be either printed result sheets or internet links to relevant governing body result web pages.
